I'm considering gettin 2 maybe 3 Axolotls but I'm finding it confusing when deciding on the size of the tank. What would you say is the minimum or ideal size of a tank?

I have seen a fairly large tank which measures around 115 cm in length and 30 cm in width. Would this be decent?

Thanks

That would be plenty big enough, general rule of thumb is 10 gallons per adult axolotl. Without knowing the depth (though it's not important for axies aslong as it's deeper than they are long) I'm guessing with those measurements it's about 50 gallons (200 liters).

It's all about the floor space and that tank seems large enough, makes sure there's lots of hides when you have multiple axies.

That's around a standard 50-55 gallon tank. Perfect for three, I actually have six in mine. If there is about 2 feet of height to that like my tank, you could always add levels and have more axies! You'll become obsessed with them quickly, I assure you. I actually have a second level set up at the moment. If you get a big tank like that, make sure to add lots of plants and hides. You definitely have room for it.
