Okay, so my around-a-year-old female just laid a bunch of eggs... and i’m terrified. I recently moved my male and female into a 4 ft tank to give them more space, but it seems they got a bit too close... So I’m going to need a lot of help here. Any links, websites or personal experience is greatly appreciated. I do have a few questions though.

1) Do I need to remove the eggs?
2) Do I now need to seperate the female and male axolotl? If so, can they go back in together eventually?
3) How many eggs should I keep? Should I keep any of them?
(I live in Victoria so if anyone wants any, I’ll see about keeping a few.)

This whole experience is going to be hard, especially since I have school... Wish me luck I guess.

Yes, remove the eggs and place them in a tub and yes separate your 'couple' or put a divider in your tank.

Personally, I think the female should have a minimum of 6 months break between pregnancies.

As per how many eggs to keep? It all depends on how many more axie's you want. Do you want to sell them? Keep them? All up to you.

Good luck and enjoy the babies, if you keep any!! They are so cute when they're tiny!!
