Hey everyone,
So I received eggs this morning in the mail and the person that shipped them to me didn't know how to properly package everything for the cold weather. She shipped it to me in a box, with newspaper but it was in a water bottle filled to the top with water and the eggs. It was cold so the water was half frozen. I had to cut the bottle in half to get the eggs out.

They're all partially C shaped right now. There were 3 duds but the rest LOOK okay. I put them in a tupperware container with an air stone.

Will they be alright? Can I get an opinion on this?

Eggs are pretty hardy. Were the eggs themselves frosty?
There's nothing wrong with shipping in a small bottle, filled up means they will not slosh around too much.
You don't need an airstone though, eggs don't breathe.

If the eggs don't develop get back to the seller.

Thanks. My eggs luckily started to develop further. And today I saw movement in their tails.

The problem wasn't the bottle. It was that it was freezing outside and there wasn't any styrofoam or insulation of any kind. The eggs were frozen together at the bottom. But at least I got to them quickly enough.
