So my unexpected eggs are progressing nicely, and I have moved them into a makeshift hatchery on top of my tank.

All looks good!

White leucistics by the look of things.

What colors are the parents?

Awesome I was wondering how your your babies were going?? As a guess I would say the darker ones may be melanoid my wilds were born with markings and mels are more an even colour I think.
I hope you dont mind I have added some of my pics of the mixed lot I got. :D

They actually look quite similar.

If you are interested in swapping some juveniles in a month or two would be keen.

=) Keep the gene pool as diverse as possible.

I expect most of mine will be lighter in colour, so am hoping to swap in some darker wilds and a some gold.

2nd batch of eggs, had the 1st hatchling today.

Actually finding the brine shrimp a bit of work, not hard at all, but when I lived in Melbourne my local pet shop always had brine shrimp for sale cheap as, so it made it easy.

But my 8 yo daughter is enjoying it all, and think it is a great teaching exercise and learning opportunity. =)
