Hi guys, this is my first post here so forgive me if im posting in the wrong place.
I have four axolotls i believe three to be female and one to be male, (lucky me lol) on friday morning I noticed one of my females swimming round with something handing out of her i switched on the lights and to my suprise there were in excess of 100 eggs scattered everywhere!
I called my local pet store and spoke to one of the members of staff who i have known for a while he is great with things like this. On his advice i got a 1.5 foot tank and transfered as many of the eggs as i possably could i have a heater set to 24 and light air bubbles the eggs seem to be growing well and are looking great!
This is my first time and my axolotls first "batch" I am unsure when to lower the heat i am also unsure about lighting while they are still eggs.
Any advice that anyone could offer would be a great help.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post

You don't need a heater - the extra heat will make them develop faster but it's not vital. You won;t need a light either, even adult axies are not too fond of bright light. Basically you sit back and wait for 2 weeks! Congratulations! I sat staring at mine for ages as they developed! :D

Thanks for the reply they are growing well its amazing to watch them grow and hopefully they will hatch soon :D
