Checked on the axolotls this evening and found eggs on some of our plants. But I'm confused because some of them are Dark while some of them are lighter color. Will this maybe play into what kind of axolotls they are? Or is this an indication that some of the eggs are bad and some are good? I am new to this egg situation. This is the first time she has laid eggs. The female is leucistic and the male is wildtype.

Some may be infertile or slower to develop. Keep and eye on them and wait before you make a decision.
