Hello all, so as said in a previous post i took on my first lot of Axie eggs. Unfortunately about 6 died before coming out of their eggs, i tried saving one of those but he lasted another 10 hours and passed too :(. However i have 6 alive and looking well. Yesterday was my first babies day for feeding after being left for 3 days after he hadhatched but didnt want to feed; today i tried again, he didnt want to take the brine shrimp so thats 4 days ... tomorrow is the first time i feed all of the others and im quite worried about this little one or is it normal ? :)
thankyou in advance :)

mine were 6 days old when they first got the orange bellies, and now at 15 days they are all orange, but some took 8-9 days. As long as they all seem active I wouldn't worry, just keep adding the BBS and keep the water clean, they'll eat ;)

some of mine ate just 8 hours after hatching
1 or 2 days after hatching is good

Yeah my first is 6 days tomorrow. So I hope he will eat im trying the bbs again tonight because it didnt really work for me the first time and the babies the three of them dont seem interested in the bloodworm or maybe they just aren't hungry? ... how do I know if theyve eaten if they are darker babies? :-/

Every animal has the right to be loved...

Even on my wild types I can see the neon orange bellies very well.

I don't think I would try feeding blood worms to 6 day old babies those, can someone correct me on this? I think they have to be around 4wks old or something I read and even then the worms have to be cut up in small pieces for them to be able to eat.

Good luck with your babies =)

Thankyou! And yeah I cut then up so tiny I can only move them with the syringe they cant be stuck to the end and movef about.
Yesterday they both ate some which was such a relief! ... they are really dark on top so when transfering them I had a look at their bellies and everything seems really good! :)
