Axolotl Artwork By Class Of 9 Year Old Children

Some of you may recall last year when I had an Axolotl Day in school. ​

Well, this year while visiting another school I was thrilled to be asked if there was an activity I would like to do with the children. We spent the first half of the morning looking at a slideshow of my own axolotl pictures (which I happened to have ready on a pen drive). This generated a great deal of discussion and we spent the remainder of the morning researching and constructing an Axolotl Fact File and Care Sheet.​

We spent the afternoon doing a bit of art work.
Once again we looked at pictures but this time the discussion focussed on shape and colour. I think after looking at some of their work you will agree they had an inspired day.​
