Axolotl and Shrimp

Hi, I have a six month old axolotl and read somewhere that sometimes they can have cut up frozen shrimp. Is this okay to give him? I gave him some and he seemed to enjoy it much more than his other food.

Yes you can use thawed raw salmon and shrimp as a treat - if its alot or too often they go off their regular diet

Does this apply to other Caudates as well, other ambystomids or Neurergus specifically

I cant speak for other species as I only have Axolotls and Spanish ribbed newts
