Hello guys!

So I swear I feel like I find something new everytime I feel like things are getting better.
So I think my axolotl is suffering from hook worms.
I think I found one under his neck.
Is hard for me to see it because he always just walking around. Lol
Is it very dangerous and how can I get rid of them.
One of the guppies I had living with him had one in the eye and as soon as I noticed it I took it out and flushed him.

This was like 1 month ago, that I took the guppie out.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
You can kind of see it. Is hard.
Second picture is better.

definitely looks like a work - I cant say if its a hookworm or anchor worm or other type and so treatment can be different for all. Anchor worms its tweezers and then into a meth blue bath.

Hookworm requires dewormer and I believe its best to be ingested but hookworm are generally intestinal only

As that coming out right at its gill? It could be a bloodworm of some food poking out through the gill slit. I'd need a better picture to tell.

Ok so is an anchor work and so is the one on the gill.
So do I take him out on my hand and just remove with tweezers? Or does he still need to be under water?
Meth blue? Does it only require one bath?
How long is he supposed to be in it?
Will this things come back? How can i kill them in the tank if there are any eggs I can't see?

TIA

Use a wet towel in a tray - obviously dechlorinated so you can get a better handle to find and remove the ones you can find. I would do a 12 hour meth blue bath every day for 3-4 - I have no clue how to remove from the tank. Maybe search in some freshwater fish forums
