Axololts swimming top down :S

I noticed on your other thread you said you'd kept them on gravel. Perhaps this axie has swallowed some and it's caused impaction. If it looks like it's really suffering I'd be tempted to fridge it and see if it passes any gravel.

Yes before I had gravel, then people told me that it's bad idea, so I brought very small stones that can go through their stomach and out again.

Remove him from that tank and get him into a tub with about 6" of fresh dechlorinated water or less if he still struggles to keep 4 feet on the ground.
Change the water twice daily as it is shallow & will dirty quickly - remove waste as you see it.

The gravel you have is still bad and may well be causing the problems. I suggest removing it all immediately & leaving the tank bare for a while to see how much gravel passes through them - make sure to feed well to help the gravel get coated & pass out.

Also the smaller axolotl in the same tank as your larger axolotl is not a good idea - the little one should be separated until similar sized.

Have you tested the water for ammonia / nitrite / nitrate / Ph? What are the readings? What is the water temperature?

Until you know your tank is safe (toxins & gravel!) get all the axolotls into separate detox tubs.

The other axololts is fine, no issue with them, they eat and live their life :D

But the big one is the trouble, I think he swallowed something.

I will remove some water from the tube, I thought I had to fill it up. "I just put him in t he fridge, he is inside now!

I didn't say to lower the water level in the tank..

Keep his water level low in the tub he is in. Make sure he's not stressed while in the fridge.

The gravel in the tank has to go or your other axolotls are sitting on a time bomb - it's not worth the risk! You'd be surprised just how much they ingest :(

I just brought them today :S

I had old gravel that were bigger I just brought smaller?

The guy told me they can go through their stomach, what do you say?

I say the worst advice is from pet shops who want to sell you stuff :(

If you read any article in these forums you see the only substrates recommended are fine even grade(size) play sand or bare bottomed glass only.

In your case I'd take it all out & leave it bare - you'll see much gravel hopefully pass out over weeks / months :( it's so bad & dangerous!

Best lesson is don't believe the pet shops!
