These are my 3 axies in their 4ft, called Lionel, Gomez and the third is unnamed..
their still so small! need more hides, and i rarely have the light on...
I've got an internal filter in their at the moment, which is cycled, waiting for the spongle filter (s) to seed, but need a T thing for the airline first so has to stay in
for a while, anyone know how long the bacteria will take to seed on that filter?
hope you like it, any improvements id love to hear

Looking good! You could add some plant pots, cut holes in them, and your axie will hide in them. Or use ceramic ones but make sure they are water or tank safe!

May I suggest you slightly lower the water level, as they prefer to be able to come to the surface for a gulp of air and the lower the water level then the easier it is for them!

About a week or two?

Nice tank! Looks great,

If anything i would just put in more driftwood or very natural stone hides, only a few though!

I dont think i would bother with lowering the water level, my tanks are all 18inches high with juviniles in and they are fine :)

If my axies get tierd they rest on the plants and clamber up them to the top hehe!

Edit : VERY JELLY ON THE TANK

Cept when mine is done :D

looks great! how long does it take to establish the plants?
