the history behind the picture :
one of my axies had been floating for some time, so i putted him in the fridge until he stopped again. when i sat the bowl? in the surface so the water could be the same temp as that in the tank.. then the bowl? felt down after some time, as you can see in the picture.. right after my other axie stod over there, she had been curious all day becus her "roommate" was sitting "up there" ;)
i think its a cute story.. axies are so amazing !! :D

How long did the axie stay in the bowl after it dropped in the tank?
 
That is so cute Maja! She obviously missed her friend and wanted to get her out a little quicker! It looks like she is saying "Come and play with me"

yea, i think they´re brother and sister, so maybe thats the reason..

ooh.... you going to try and breed them or are they them same sex?
 
hmm, i not 100% sure they´re a female and a male, and im not 100% sure they´re brother and sister but they look so similar.. i want a wildtype too.. i have no thoughts of breeding them, im just havin´ them for fun ! ..

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
