Hi my baby just hatched and i want to put it in a smaller container so i can make sure it feeds but if i put a air pump in it it will cause to much water flow. I've seen in videos that they just have them in containers without anything so will mine be fine

Yes, your axolotl larvae should be fine without an air stone just make sure you do daily water changes, you can use water from an adult axolotl to do the water changes or just fresh dechlorinated water.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Make sure that the new water if the same tempersture as the water you're removing, so you don't shock the little guy ;)
Also, if you have any spare live plants, or you have something you can take a cutting from, I'd advise adding that to your little friend's tub - it'll help to oxygenate the water, but also provides an excellent hiding place
And... WHERE'S THE PHOTO/S?! :D

I have him in a smaller container with another egg thats about to hatch. I do frequent water changes and use the water from parents tank also I have the container floating in the parents tank so that the temp stays the same as parents which is working great. The little guy is looking better then yesterday when he hatched but I don't think hes still hasn't eaten yet. I'm using baby brine shrimp which hatched the same day as him. Hes gotten more color and looks like a wild type now. Not sure if hes hatched to early or too late as hes egg collapsed and he was stuck in the jelly with no egg. The other one in the egg still is really white so hoping it will be albino he was layed two days after the one thats hatched. Hoping he eats soon its hard to tell if he has eaten or not as hes dark and really little. Trying to put photos up hope they turn out.

In the photos are my egg the baby thats now a day old and the parents they thought it was feed time so wouldn't get out of the picture. The baby is on the right of picture

Not if you don't have facebook!

Even with Facebook, I get the "This content is currently unavailable
The page you requested cannot be displayed at the moment. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page." message ;)
Ifrey - what are your Facebook settings like? Can anyone see your photos? Or just friends / friends of friends?
