I thought it was time again to update you all on the status of my monsters.
over the past month or so, I had been seeing phantom spermatophores popping up about my tank, and I was not sure who they were coming from, as my 2 monsters were supposed to be girls!
after some ninja investigating, I caught Lance-Alotl (golden) in the act! so, lance is now a Mr! and as far as I know Knuckles (melanoid) is a female. I've yet to see any eggs and quite frankly I wouldn't know what I would do with them anyway.
so, now to the photos. the first is lance and knuckles together, and lance seems to always take the most uncouth position when he's resting and he will stay like that for hours at a time.
the second is knuckles, with her half sitting out of the log.
and the last, of course is lance who is still somewhat smaller than knuckles.
