At what age can the gender be determined?

I have read that axolotls can breed as young as a year old...but at what age/length does it become possible to sex them ?

It varies. Some will be obvious by the time they're 6 inches, or 6 months, others wait a year and a half before revealing their gender.

Most of the time, you can be reasonably assured by the time they're around 9-10 months old.
