I adopted an axolotl from a neighbor recently that wasn’t well kept or in the best of health.
Over the past month or two I’ve worked on trying to help him recuperate a bit.

He’s regained a decent appetite but is pretty finicky with earthworms…it’s a real struggle sometimes to get him to eat them.

Based on the attached pictures, how is he looking?

Thanks!

Many and myself stand by their stomach shouldn't be bigger than their head so with that I believe whatever your doing is great. He looks like he's on a good road to recovery. Great job!
