ASAP - going on holiday, do I feed my axolotl the day before?

Hi, I am going away for a week and leaving my adult axolotl behind. I fed him 2 days before the leave date (today) so that he could poop and I could clean it up. However, I feel uneasy about leaving him for this long, and am wondering if I should feed him one last time before I go. I know that this would mean he would poop and I wouldn’t be there to clean it up, so my question is can just one poop in the tank do any harm if left?

the main problem is because you scoop the poop and food waste (I assume daily) that the filtration won't be used to the additional waste and may cause an ammonia spike and other issues with the water parameters.
if you'd had a bit more time until vacationing I would have recommended putting some shrimp in and to relax the cleaning slightly to allow the filtration to be ready.
before going on holiday do a 50% water change and clean any muck in the filter, also if possible put a mesh bag of zeolite in the tank to absorb any additional ammonia caused by any waste ie..poop.
