Question: Are we doing this right?

Ok we have gotten a yellwo spotted salamander(he's actually pretty cute) anyway we got an aquarium no clue how small it is but we put in woody dirt for the bottom. We put in a pool that takes up half the environment. We haeve two plants one he clims up on and the other is from a fish tank and then we have a rock he can hide underneath. Ok once that is azll in place there is no room for it to move around. We are giving him about 6 small crickets 3 times a week, along with vitamin powder. we are spraying tank about every other day to try and keep humidity up above 60%. Temperature is about 65. What if anything are we doing right and also wrong? Thanks we will post pics soon I hope.
