I'm planing axolotl tanks again and I just can't remember how many litters I should have for each individual. o.o

I have a rack fot three (3.) aquariums; 1x240 liters + 2x126l liters.
I would like to put females in 240 liter tank and males in those 126 liter tanks.
Would it be fine if there were three axolots in 240l tank and 1-2 in 126 liter tank?

I think that I'm going to get inner filters to those 126l tanks and some kind of outer filter in 240 liter tank.

that sounds fine... just make sure you have enough hides and you could definetely have that many, at least!

Hmm.
How many axolots fits in 240l l / 124l tank?

It depends on the footprint. A long tank will hold more axolotls than a tall tank. For the metricly impaired, 240 liters is approximately 63 gallons, and 124 liters is approximately 32 gallons.

For the 240l tank, I would suspect around 5 adults, if the tank is long rather than tall. The 124l tank will hold 2-3, again if it's long rather than tall.

240l measurements: 120cm long x 45,5 cm wide x44 cm tall
And 126l about 65 cm long x 45,5 cm wide x 44cm tall

so, how many axolots they will fitt?

I would put 4-5 in the 240l and 2 in the 126l.

Ok. :)
That's good, now males don't have to be alone in those 126l tanks.

Hmm. Do anyone have any new ideas for plants to axie tank?
I just want real waterplant to tank, to keep the water clean.
