Are land cleaning crews (springtails and isopods) necessary in newt enclosures??

So a week ago i started setting up a natural paludarium for my T. shanjing
I already finished hardscaping and planting, i already have a culture of springtails and isopods, i don't really know if i should put it in so i asked this question! Thank you!

I wouldn't say springtails and isopods are necessary in a newt enclosure (terrestrial part), but they are really useful.
They get rid of dead plants parts and animals'food leftovers (and even poo if they are numerous enough).
Moreover, they are a live food stock available even if you cannot bring food every day.

I added springtails today, I also wanted to add dairy cow isopods. Should i add them or just stick with the springtails?

Add the isopods. If you keep some leave litter and bark chips in your enclosure you can culture them in your enclosure. I use these guys in all my terrestrial setups.
