Are FBT nocturnal?

i am pretty sure they are diurnal. I would say it doesnt really matter what time they eat. cuz mine eat whenever theres food.

cool. thx. Thats when i have been feeding mine. But lately they have not been eating much at all. They are nice and fat so mabye they just dont need as much. I fed them meal worms out of a tray and they always ate them, but for like the past couple of weeks they havent eaten anything out of the bowl.

Mealworms should not form a whole diet.
I feed crickets, waxworm, earthworm, and occasionally woodlice, the odd freshly shed mealworm is ok but not too many.

I feed my toads mealworms all my life...and I had them over a year now! Omg this is new...

Should I get a cricket feeder and start feeding them crickets?

And what do waxworms look like so I can find them at a petstore?

you should feed your toads crickets too. Waxworms are fat little worms that are white and have like red heads. they are more fattening and shouldn't be fed to them all the time only as a treat.

they like routine....if you keep feeding thwm at the same time each time you feed them, you will soon find them waiting for you at that certain time.

yah, its extremely nice to see them hunt, as they have no sticky tongue, they have to grab the crickets!!

quite a sight
