Aquarium salt with firebellies

Hi there, can anyone tell me if you can use aquarium salt with firebellies, if so how much should be used in a 20 gallon tank? thanks x

Aquarium salt isn't appropriate for any newt/sal, as far as I'm aware.

cool thanks for the advice, i wanted to check after I read somewhere that some bites on newts could be treated by giving the newt a salt bath. I don't have this problem myself but wanted to check anyways

what is wrong with them?

one of them has what looks like a bit mark on its skin from the pet shop, my other half suggested giving him a salt bath might help but i wanted to check and make sure before doing anything.
