Nope, as each individual (let alone differences between species) can be very particular as to which point in their development they go aquatic.
That said, most people use a shallow semiaquatic tank as a transitionary stage to get their juveniles or subadults aquatic. 2-3cm of water depth is enough and land areas must be very easily accessible. Using plants is highly recommendable as they make a big difference in allowing juveniles to feel secure in water.
You´ll have to look at the biology of the species you have in mind and act accordingly. Some people argue that aquatic housing year-round or earlier on in the development than would be usual for the species, can have negative effects. Mind you, it´s a pretty common choice.
