I can't find a divider that will fit my tank. I plan to divide my large tank as I am waiting for a chiller to be delivered, so I would like to put my little guy in there as well, the small one is roughly 6inch and my two larger are just under 8inch.

Can anyone foresee a problem with the following set-up?....I plan on using some mesh sheet, like the kind used for garden fences or those fold away camping chairs, so I would imagine the mesh will be Nylon or cotton, with some plastic clips holding on each side....providing the mesh is small enough for no-one to get caught up in and is wedged in tightly I can't see a problem, I am maybe worried about the mesh degrading or the Axolotl being strong enough to rip the mesh, they can be hooligans!

Any thoughts?

You could always make a divider out of plexiglass, and just drill some holes into it.

This was a though of mine but believe it or not I have never used plexi-glass, my tank is home made and I went a bit over board with the braces I am not sure if I were to make a plexi-glass divider that was tight fitting enough it would be able to withstand the bend that would be required to get it past the braces...with the mesh I could just fold it
