Anchor worms getting nasty - fungus invaiding

my axies have had anchor worms for about 6 months now and to be honest, theyre really starting to tick me off big time. at first they were just a neusence and now theyre getting really nasty and evil looking with all their fluff around where it meets my axie. ive tried loads of treatment and am in the middle of using lifebearer at half the stated dose for twice the length of time. is this fluff symbolic of the fact that they might be dying as i have never seen it before with other treatments or anything? should i be doing salt baths or anything for them too to help the fungus or just leave it? thanks for your help.

I never see white fluff as a good sign. I would do salt baths.

I do not know if Axolotls can be treated with Dimilin but it works well on fish.
