Having recently moved my big female leuc to a new tank in my living room, she looks like she may be full of eggs (def not bloat or impaction) should i move one of my males in with her to releive her of eggs?
Is it in any way dangerous for her to be full of eggs and not lay?

And which one should i move into the tank with her?
9 inch wildy male?
9 inch leuc?

No, it's not dangerous for them to carry eggs without laying. They'll reabsorb the eggs.

If you want to breed them, then that's up to you.

i do want to have a go - what male should i use?
I have a sneaky suspicion that my two leucs are related - the wildy came from the other end of the country..... maybe i should use the wildy???

Either male is fine. Inbreeding is pretty common in axolotls and usually doesn't cause issues.

How many eggs do you plan on raising?

I will use the wildy type male Im probably comfortable with about 12 larvae and will select the darkest of ovum i think - hopefully will get some nice colouration

Well.... if you've a choice of a male who's not closely related then that's probably the wisest choice. Try to avoid inbreeding if you can.
