Just looking in to getting one of these guys. I'd assume they'd require the basic terrestrial set-up with lots of hiding material and thick substate... but do they require anything different? Also are they difficult to care for?

I have seen these ones before really quite fond of them as far as i can tell there is nothing out of the ordinary for these guys but a rather unexpert comment from me:)

I'd keep them the same way I'd keep a Tiger salamander or any other Ambystomatid for that matter. I don't believe they have any special requirements, although they may be more timid/shy than Tigers.

I'm a bit jealous. I've loved the look of this species, but never got one because they won't breed in captivity and I didn't think I'd be improving the hobby by getting one.

Ok, that's what I thought. I just saw them offered on DartFrog (don't go stealing them now ;)) and just thought they seemed intresting. I might consider trying to breed but most likely not, I don't have the experience or equipment really. Thanks for the advice guys.
