Amadeus' strange behaviour

HI all,
Amadeus has been behaving rather strangely this week. Normally he likes to be fed every day - preferably by hand and will take three or four lots of food. The past week he went four days without food. He has eaten again the last two days, but just a small amount. He has looked fine the whole time - just hasn't been hungry.

Constanza has been eating fine. I have checked the water temperature and the balance etc, and all has been fine.

Any ideas? The only one I can think of is that the school has been on holiday and he has got used to the peace and quiet, and found the children being back rather offputting and needed to get used to it

Has any one else has that experience.

ps: they have both grown over 3 inches since I got them in December and are an amazing sight.

It could just be the change in environment, or a change in the weather. My animals usually have some odd behavior when the seasons change, especially my python. I wouldn't worry too much, unless he stops eating at all for a long period. Is there anything else wrong? Any injuries or infections? A change in his diet? Is the other axie being aggressive?

Nothing else wrong at all. He is his usual inquisitive self, always standing at the front of the tank to see what is going on. No injuries or infections, and Constanza is the gentle one, so I guess its just one of those things. I was just starting to panic, when he decided to eat again. Mind you I did feed him his favourite - a slice of raw scallop.

Yep, at first guess I would blame it on the season's changing. Mind you, the thought of having children around puts me off my food too
