Hi everyone, Is it possible to overdose axies on almond leaves? I put 4 xl leaves in a 40 gallon tank and the water is green, I knew the colour would change but it worried me slightly that bombarding them with it might be bad - PH is 7.2, everything else is normal too so far.

That doesn't sound like an excess of almond leaves. I suspect that the water turned green with algae, not from the leaves. Almond leaves give the water a yellowish clear color, not green.

It went greenie brown overnight after the leaves went in, I assume that can't be algae unless the leaves sent it wild?

The only damage your almondleaves are likely to do is to crate a slightly acidic pH, but you'd need a lot of leaves to do that! As long as you're happy with the pH theres no problem.

Maybe another side effect might be your axie will bump into things more often :p
