i bought some alge-away type tablets for fish tanks. i wanted to know if they would be safe for my chinese fire bellys? it says something like "do not use on scaleless fish" and i didnt know if id be dangerous to them.

or is there any other good way of getting rid of alge???

get a scrub brush and use some elbow grease.

Also, change your water, nitrates from animal waste is what alge feeds off, so if you keep your tank clean you shouldnt have that much of a problem.

also, i dont trust any chemicals (like that alge-b-gone stuff) around my animals that arnt reccomended by a vet. you never know what kind of reaction your animal will have to them.
