Ahhhh help

hey, i am completely new with axelotls. I have previously owned fire bellied newts bearded dragons, and a chameleon. I need some help concerning my axie. He is 8 cm and is in a 15 gallon tank filled up two thirds with a fluval 2 plus internal filter, and with a few rocks. I didnt buy gravel because it was supposedly possible to be swallowed..? Anyways i bought pepples around 5 centimeters in diameter and that seemed to cause stress for my axie. I want something easy to clean and safe

Hi Daniel,
Most of the people on this forum
prefer to use either nothing
or sand.
I find that sand is easier to clean
and I love the little foot prints
they leave in it.
