Hiya i just wondering if anyone can help, my axolotl has layed eggs and they are growing as normal, just wondering do i need to keep the water aerated all the time or can i turn it off and for how long cud i leave it off without affecting the babies??

I was told to keep an air stone in, but Ive found when i turn it off for a few minutes they seem to wriggle a lot more so not sure what to do!!

I didn't use any aeration for mine, just kept them in Tupperware-sized containers until they hatched. So I don't think it should effect them too much. Hope this helps!
