I recently adopted a 2 year old female axie and in the few days she has been with me she has spat out atleast 7 rocks but looking at her tummy it seems like she still has some in her. She seems ok and is pretty active and is eating well. Should I be worried about her and is there anyway I can help her get rid of those pebbles?

well its a good start tht she got rid of some already. if she is active and eating and looks healthy thats also a good sign and most likely she/he will be fine.

im not completely sure on wht you could do to help your axie pass the pebbles more easily, i think i read something on a different post about putting her/him in the fridge to help with tht but i could be wrong so please wait till someone else who has better knowledge on the topic comments on tht part.

just keep a close eye on the axie and make sure the behavior keeps pointing to a healthy happy animal. I would start worrying if the axie stopped eating or started acting lethargic. Goodluck to the both of you!

My littlest axie had pebbles in his belly - passed them all within a couple of weeks and is happy and healthy now, so I'd say she'll do it on her own:)

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
