ACF that has problems staying on the bottom

He seems like he can't seem to go to the bottom to rest. The way to describe this is that there's a magnet and he's the metal part that keeps getting drawn up to the surface. He doesn't seem bloated, and his appetite is still good. Still he seems to be stressing. Could anyone please give me an idea as to what's wrong? I recently did a partial water change and used Amquel Plus whereas I've used Stress Coat in the past. Could this be the problem? If it's some kind of swim bladder problem, could anyone shed light on this for me? How can I make things better for him? Thanks for anyone's help. I appreciate it!

To reduce his stress, either pack the tank with a lot of floating plants, or else move him to a temporary container with very shallow water. With so little water, you'll probably need to change the water every day.

In terms of longer-term care, I really don't know. It may be the kind of thing that goes away on its own. Maybe try changing to a different kind of food?

It did end up going away on it's own. The behavior lasted probably for 24 hours, so I have no idea if it was a gas bubble or what.

I'm only relieved that he's back to his old croaking self.

Hello,
is your frog a juvenile or a adult frog?
For juvenile ADCFs I know this from my own experience and some other Pipidae frog keepers.

At least after two days always it goes away.

Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.

Hello!!! I'm new to this website and idk how to ask a proper question on the designated spot yet, so I'll ask here, I'm a first time Axolotl owner, and my dad used to run an aquarium store, anyways... Orca, my Axolotl, seems to loose parts of her toes on one limb from time to time, I can't seem to find the problem. Tempature is well, she doesn't seem to have any infections or anything, though. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a vet in Brazil for amphibians that are in a reasonable distance to drive without stressing Orca out too much

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!
