Hi,
I wanted to inform you about a nice caudates event, a seminar which will occur on march, 29th at the Thoiry Zoo, near Paris.

It is a seminar organised by the members of the French caudates forum, Urodèles (http://urodeles.forumpro.fr/)
Last year it was very succesfull and gathered a lot of renowned french-speaking caudates specialists.
Here is a quick translation of the program, just for the non-french speaking :
- The Salamandra Genus, by François Maillet
- "Network" breeding for caudata, by Jean Michel Collet
- Mexican Herping, by Arnaud Jamin, Emmanuel Jelch et Jean Raffaelli
- Proteus anguinus, an herping session in Ariège
-The axolotl, by David Christinaz
As this kind of event acts, I think, in the good way towards caudates promotion and protection I thought it was important to let you know.
Of course a decent french understanding level is quite recommended... but those of you who want more informations can ask me or send an email to forum.urodeles@yahoo.fr
