Wow thats so cool & you can see all his insides.

I love it I think its good because you can see the detail inside, particularly the mouth. I take a lot of pic of my babies but this is one of my favourites!

The development of these creatuers sure are fascinating!
i really love this picture.

AnnMarie I forgot to ask is that you axie in your profile pic, the gills are stunning...I love it!

Yes, it is one of my axolotls in my picture. A few of mine have long and fluffy gills. I will tell him you like his gills.

I like the recnt pics. Reminds me of when i first got my goldens, They barely had legs. Fasinated by them being "see through". Boyfriend got a kick out of being able to see their organs/brains. He loved them so much he even named them :p

Watching the limbs develpe/regrow is fascinating. It seems as if there is noticable progression daily!

Nice axy. I have hever seen a baby in a set up like that befor is it hard to look after?

umm..good question,
I have the sponge filters running all the time, and clean the poo out every evening with a turkey baster, before I feed them. I feed them live dahpnia so waste from food isnt a problem! And I guess I do a 20% water change every week or 2, it varies. I test the water occasionally , its always great and i think thats to do with the fact I use rain water!
So the answer to your question is it hard..... Id say no, time consuming sometimes but worth the axies happiness!!
