I think my 90 gallon has finished cycling the nitrite went up to a whopping 2mg and I did a water change it went down to about .5 then went back up to 1.5 in a day. The next day it was only 1. The next day only .25 now 0 :D. Cant find the card for ammonia at the moment but I know the color is less than .25 just not sure how close to 0 it is but its got to be right there. Nitrates are at about 2 - 2.5 mg. Is it safe to assume my tank is cycled now?

A tank is cycled when it reads 0 for Ammonia and NitrItes and then your weekly water changes keeps the nitrAtes below 20.

You need to feed your tank ammonia everyday if you are doing a fishless cycle otherwise the bacteria will starve and die and youll have to do it all again :(

But once you can add 5ppm of ammonia and its gone to 0ppm in 24 hours then you can add your axies to the tank and your good to go
