6 month old P. caudopunctatus larvae

here are my latest shots of the larvae that hatched on the 6th of january, i keep them about 60F. they are now 1.5 inches long on average and eat very well and show no signs of squabbling with each other (no missing parts..)

surprisingly one of my 4 little goth babies doesnt wear white lipstick....

Nice pics. They are certainly far more slender in proportion than the fuzhongensis larvae I have (see the photo gallery).

just checked in on them-one is dead-dont know why, that leaves me with 3....

Make sure that the water is really clean - water quality suitable for pond newt larvae doesn't seem to go down well with Paramesotriton larvae...
Were there any marks on it?
Are the other three exhibiting any stressed/abnormal behaviour?
I read in an article (possibly by Henk???) in which the author stated that he did better with juvies when kept at warmer temps...is 60F too cold?
