Hey, if you guys have seen my other threads, I'm new at this. So yeah;). This is an update of my tank - I added some rock and fake plants. I got the tank from my uncle (is this a 10 gallon, or 15, or 20 gallon? I think 15g) ;/. Anyone got suggestions what to add in it to make it more natural? I'm still looking for stuff, but just want to see if anyone has got suggestions! Thanks!

I am a little confused, in one pic a see plants under the filter. The next one has the plants missing and the water level is lower. Do you take water out and add the ice bottles? Why is one of them brown?

I think the setup in the first pic is good. I think adding more plastic plants would be better. Some that float and some that sit on the bottom. The heavier planted the better. I don't see a haul out point for them to leave the water if they choose to except for if the water is lower. Something that keeps them wet (cork) works really well. Once you have those two things you could also increase the water level. More water volume is easier to keep in good quality and will be cooler. I like the rock area and if it was alittle higher would serve as a great hiding area and a haul out area.

Again I like the first pic better, but with more plants, more water. To find out what gallon size the tank is, find the length, width and height of the tank. Multiply all three together and divide the answer by 231. Round up or down to the next whole number to get the size.
