Its amazing, 3 weeks and the developments in the eggs are astounding, apporx how long, I can see the whole bodies and I can see a bit of what looks like gills, I suppose not long now..
Well my first net hatched today I have a question... I know that the newts ave youlk sacs, but I was wondering are similar to fish in the sense that they won't move almost at all with the youlk sac, also how often will I feed them?
they'll probably just sit on the bottom, until all the yolk is absorbed. you dont need to feed them until they have no yolk left. the yolk is their food, to nurish them until they're developed and ready to find food on their own. then feed 'em all they'll eat... try live daphnia, then you'll have a continuous food source, and neednt worry about food that doesnt get eaten settling to the bottom
