Hey y'all, This is gift art for a good friend of mine who lives in Ireland. I got a new computer art program on Friday. This art piece is actually the result of two art programs that I have for the computer, Jasc Paint shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop 7.0... old school O___O;

I am still learning how to work Adobe, so this picture is, well, not that great, but I hope you guys like it anyway!

This is just one picture out of a series I am going to be working on until I can figure out Adobe from top to bottom. The next pieces I will work on will be other colors of axolotls, gold and wild type, plus probably a painted fish tank.

I have never done under water rocks before in computer art programs, so I thought I would give it a whirl for this piece. Hope the Axolotl in the picture doesn't eat any of them lol.

Anyway, Let me know what you guys think! Took me 3 hours to complete it.

looks cool, the axie in the pic looks like he has attitude.

Looks awesome!! The shading on the axolotl is great and I especially like the bubbles he's exhaling. You must have a lot of patience!

Now I feel like making some axie art hehehe

He looks like he should be wearing a black leather jacket with chains, bouncing at some bar. lol

thats some killer art there Rheann! I wish i had art skills like yours.

Thanks everyone for your comments! Boy I hadn't meant to make the axolotl look mean but I sure did didn't I? lol. I'll draw some more Axolotl art when I get the time.

There’s actually a pretty sad story about this little kitten. I found her abandoned on the 10th of October at my apartment complex. I actually watched the people abandon her.

She’s about 4 or 5 weeks old I think. I was asleep and woke up to see them abandon her right out side my apartment of all places. Then they walked off and left her behind and never took a second look.

I didn’t get a good look at their faces, but I did hear their voices and saw their bodies and I will remember that the nest time I see them, and the next time I see them I am going to find out where they live and report them to the animal S.P.C.A for animal neglect and cruelty. Who in their right mind would do this to a nearly helpless animal? Some pretty psychotic people.

They are going to pay BIG TIME.

She was pretty dehydrated and underweight when I found her. Her nose was also chapped and cracked, possibly from abuse she endured from those terrible owners and her dehydration probably caused part of it too. She has gained weight since I brought her in, and she is doing ten times better. I have her eating kitten formula and kitten food for the time being and will wean her off the formula in about a week and a half.

She is nearly all white except for that little gray and orange patch of fur on the top of her head (her comb over) and her eyes are bright sky blue she is so pretty!

I’m actually trying to find a home for her, I have already too many pets of my own to keep her. She’s just the sweetest little cuddliest thing you could ever find, she is so clingy. She hates being left alone and insists on sleeping curled up under my neck when I am sleeping lol.

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
