ok so I got some newts in 94(when I was 4) as a gift from my baby sitter..two albino frogs and two firebellys...needless to say this little guy is the last remaining one :\...frog jumped out while were moving and into the sewer( id like to think hes about 4 feet now and runs the place) other died from tumor..and one newt drowned being stuck under rock :/...long story short this guy has been alone since 09..he has been in the same tank his whole life..its a 25 gallon tank..hes been in gravel and ive never had an issue before..however lastnight I noticed he was very large...almost to where he couldn't use his front legs...just his back(hes very fast still)..and he still has an appetite however due to his size I did not feed him..I usually feed him twice a week..however this past week I have fed him 3 times...due to his activity and those eyes staring at me while im on the computer ...I feed him blood worms...and whole cube to himself...and hes been on that since day 1..my question is could he just be fat? I don't think I have ever seen him this big...I hope he didn't eat gravel. ive attached an image from a few months back so you can see the normal size and his tank and also if he did could he pass a rock of that size...I will take another tonight....his legs and head are still skinny..if I left anything out please let me know...this guy is my last remaining pet from my childhood and I really hope he is not sick..
