My axolotls hatched around 15th January but still haven't shown any major growth. I've been feeding them on daphnia backed up with microworms and the biggest of them measures approx 3/4 of an inch. Should they not be bigger by now?
What size should they be at 2 months? I know they grow at different speeds but a rough estimate?
Thanks.

Growth is exponential. It seems slow at first, then goes faster, especially after they are big enough to start taking larger foods (like blackworms or finely-chopped earthworms).

I have 9 hatchlings that will be one month on Tuesday the 19th. Most of them are just about an inch if not over an inch.

Is your house a little on the chilly side? I have found that babies raised in the summer grow much more quickly than those in the winter. At lower temps their metabolism slows down and they eat less therefore grow more slowly. My house is arctic during the winter; excellent for the axies, not so great for the humans!

Temperature is averaging about 21 degrees.

Mine hatched the 9th of January, and my biggest is maybe an inch. I keep them around 13c.
