Here are some photographs of my axolotl named "Puzzle", she came from a group of eggs that i bred last year between my male golden albino and my female leucistic. As i have mentioned in a previous post, i have plans to breed her back to her dad next month. Anyway, here are some photos of her as a tiny baby, all the way up till current day.

Amazing. The markings are beautiful.
Many thanks for sharing the pictures, the baby photos are adorable. :happy:

What a lovely set of photo's, thank you for showing us. I suspect that she is a mosaic.

Ohhh i know, baby photos are always the best! Thank you so much for taking a look and for your comments <3

Thank you! She also has the most funny personality, she really loves her treat time. hehee. I also have a feeling that she still has more growing to do. When she hatched she was about 3 times bigger then any of the other babies.

Thanks very much for the opinion! I think she is Mosaic too, but i am looking for lots of second opinions. I don't have any babies currently for sale, but in have just started this years breeding season. Several different adults have been paired up, and i have plans to breed Puzzle as well to see if she is fertile. I will be posting about the results of her breeding for sure : }

That is one of the most beautiful axolotls I've ever seen. If you ever breed any that look like this id love to buy some. Thanks for sharing! And it looks mosaic to me but those marking do dominate one side. REALLY COOL!!!

Hey there, thanks for the comment. I am very particular about my breeding programs, and this beautiful lady is one of the results. I have a batch of eggs about to hatch :Dthat are from her father that look to possibly hold a few interesting wigglers. And i will surely share the results here in a week or so when everyone is established and we can see some color patterns a little better : ) We shall see what happens!

I'd love to see more photo's :D

I am going to be uploading some video footage of her pretty soon, i've gotten a lot of requests from people that just want to watch videos of her breathing. hehe! I will share some links here when the videos are up. She is also HUGE i might add, and seems to be continually growing! Thanks for the comments by the way, i love this website so much <3

What a beauty!!!! Please let me know if you breed more I would be interested in buying one!

Hi there

Is this Rose City Axolotls? I think I recognize this axie from FB pictures. Very pretty. I have a similar question about mine. When I bought them I was told they were golden albino leucistic crosses.There definitely seems to be more going on than just golden. What do you call this phenotype?

How old was Puzzle when you noticed her changing into a mosaic pattern wise??I'd hate to cull or sell a baby and then realise it was a mosaic!lol

    Had a question that I just want to be sure of. My marbled newt is a little over a year old and has started to develop and I noticed that he is starting to swell a little below his abdomen. I guess I’d like to know if they are his testes or if I need to be concerned.

    Hello!!! I'm new to this website and idk how to ask a proper question on the designated spot yet, so I'll ask here, I'm a first time Axolotl owner, and my dad used to run an aquarium store, anyways... Orca, my Axolotl, seems to loose parts of her toes on one limb from time to time, I can't seem to find the problem. Tempature is well, she doesn't seem to have any infections or anything, though. And I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a vet in Brazil for amphibians that are in a reasonable distance to drive without stressing Orca out too much

    Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!
