They are absolutely gorgeous! I'm in love with the golden albino.

I don't have any bad experiences with them yet... I made sure these were big enough, so that they wouldn't end up as lunch. Sometimes the axolotls get a little annoyed when the snails bump in on them while passing, but other than that...
I just got them a week ago, so I'm still watching how it goes :happy:

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
