I want to thank Joost for sharing pictures of his beautiful tank. How deep is the deepest part? How many popei you have living in this tank?

The deepest part is 15-16 cm. I currently have 5 semi adult popei in it.

Have you built the background yourselfe? or is it a cast module?

I haven't made it myself. The backwall costed € 450,- in the petshop, and I needed a custom-made tank for it (it didn't fit in standard tanks). The tank costed € 650,-

In a aquatic setup, it's no problem at all. When they are terrestrial, it's too moist.

Here some 'technical' pics. I have made a soil filter (I hope I'm using the right word), driven by water, instead of air, as the commercial ones do. I use a little aquarium pump (mini jet 606) for two little waterfalls.

That's why I said I don't know if I use the correct word.

It's a filter, what lies on the bottom of the tank, underneath the gravel. Dirt will be sucked into the gravel than.

Yes I understod that, so I tried to clerify that to you with selections around soil filter, but that may have been a little farfetched
