Cute little guy or gal i would wait till u are sure of what he or she is going to be! You could pick a name that is for girls or guys like taylor , erin or aaron ? I guess u could look it up in a baby book?

You should try one of the Greek gods/mythical creatures, or maybe more appropriate the name of a Mayan god as they also come from that region :)

I had forgotten how little they can be :D I would be tempted to feed him in a smaller container, just so you can be sure he eats enough....are you feeding twice a day?

He is fed a bloodworm or brine shrimp once per day:) Should it be twice??

They should be fed twice a day. If you have access to blackworms they love them at that age. I would take bellabelloo's advice on a smaller tank for feeding or at least lower the water level, that's a lot of space for brine shrimp to swim around. Cute little guy.

Soooo small :D Is it hard to find him/her/it in the tank? It looks so cute and it's sometimes hard to imagine that my 24 cm axie was once that small :D
*melts*

Oh my goodness what a cutie! I just want to take him/her and kiss it

Omigawd!!! SOOOOO CUTE!!!!! I forget how small they are when they're babies. :D. I used to feed my axie live blackworms when he was smaller in another container. They love it :D. Good luck with your little guy .

!!!

It's so tiiiny! Haha. Very cute, though! I love it. :)

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
