Three years ago I got deloustali eggs from a Spanish friend!

I posted it in the laoens treat.

Now, I show photos off this "eggs"!

Very nice, Paul. You are doing some truly brilliant stuff with the species you work with. Are these from a different locality than the other P. deloustali you have?

Do they breed the same year as they return to water?

Hello Chris,

I brought them back to water 1 year after metamorphosis. Now they are 3 years old but did not breed until now. The biting photo was the first of this action I saw.

Origin of all my deloustali is Tam Dao.

One question in what dimentions tank you have your's deloustali? only one male, or more, in a same tank? thanks!

100 * 40 * 50 cm (waterlevel 40 cm), only one male!

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
