I thought i would show a quick shot of the youngsters.

They are hard to photograph as they are so quick, far speedier than my young terrestris, and they love to climb alot, presumably as they would in the wild.

I have 4 and they are about 40mm long and feeding on 2nd/3rd instar crickets, and for the moment i am keeping them on moist tissue paper with a pile of bark slivers in the box for them to climb amongst.

Will add more pics as i get them more photogenic!!

Ben

Very beautiful

Do you give too mini earthworms?

At the moment they eat just the small crickets, when they get a little bigger I will try them on small earthworms. As they are fast moving salamanders they have no trouble hunting down the crickets.

Thank you for the comments.
